MYQ integration with Ring App

Purchased a home with a WIFI Liftmaster garage door opener. I was able to set it up in the MyQ App, but when I try and integrate it I get "Serial Number Mismatch" error message. The door works perfectly in the MyQ App, but in Ring it shows as "Offline". I've removed and added the door from both Ring and MyQ, even doing a hard reset on the Liftmaster door. I've looked through other posts which said that the Canadian version has had issues, but I'm from the US.
