Motion alert for ring doorbell 2

Hello, I just bought a ring doorbell 2, and i set up everything for the motion alert accordingly. However, i did not get any notification from ring to my phone. Also, i did get notification when i press the button on the doorbell. I did try everything, and not sure what the issue is. I test the motion by standing in my front yard and still no notification. Anyone have any idea.
