Live view in Landscape mode - X out does not work

When viewing Live View in landscape mode (which is a near necessity to be able to see anything for my cam), the 'X' button in the top left does not work - it just rotates back to portrait.Can the 'X' button in Landscape Live View be fixed to correctly exit out of Live View?
