Help Me Get Rid of Orange Banner Ad
app-request

How can I get rid of the orange banner at that reads, "Want to resume premium features? Learn how."  I upgraded one of my cameras AND upgraded from Ring Basic to Ring Standard.  I don't want Premium.  The banner sits right across one of my camera feeds and ALWAYS comes back.  It's annoying enough that I'm looking at other cameras.  Please resolve this so you don't lose this long-time customer.

Hi @user_496598. I understand your frustration regarding the orange banner, but unfortunately there isn't an option to turn this off. You may see a banner if you recently had a trial, or still have some time remaining on a trial from a new device. We have passed feedback about this banner onto the appropriate teams.

The only solution is to not add another Ring camera to your account. If you don't have the orange banner and don't buy another Ring camera then all is fine. So don't buy another camera! Simple solution.

I am having the same problem and you see the wonderful response we get from Ring. All they want to do is sell you more cameras and more expensive protection plans. I’m ready to get rid of my entire Ring system because of this annoying money hungry way of doing business. it continues to come up even if you turn off all notifications in the Ring app. Ridiculous!

I am the original poster above.  The annoying banner persisted after my trial was over and I was back to a paid subscription.  The "accepted solution" below (not accepted by me, but rather by Ring) clearly didn't fix the problem at the time, but in the 1-2 weeks since that response, my orange banner ad is now gone.  Not sure if it just ran its course or whether the programming team finally did something about it, but either way, I'm relieved!  Just came back to post this in case it helps anyone else in the same situation.
