Edit Posts
Why doesn't Ring allow us to edit Posts from within the Ring (Neighbors) program? If there is a way to do it, please let me know. As it is now, with too many spelling mistakes or erroneous information, the post has to be deleted and then redone. By allowing us to edit post, that will give us the chance to update the post without creating more unnecessary posts.

I understand that. That is EXACTLY what I posted originally. There is seemingly no way to do it. My question is "why". I even explained a benefit of being able to do so. Yahoo, YouTube, Instagram, etc allow it, so why doesn't Ring?

UNow why would anyone want to be able to edit other people's post? I'd like to be able to edit my own posts like most other forums allow.

J@user_141e05. Thank you for clarifying what you were referring to. I have just tested this as if I were a new user, and I have no issues editing or deleting my own posts. Did you click on the three dots on your post and select edit? If you are getting any errors please share a screenshot.

@Justin-Ring I guess I'm still not being clear. I am talking about from within the Ring program (Neighbors). Like when we post on a Ring video, there is seemingly no way to edit the post. The Ring video posts, not here in the Ring community forums.

Hi @user_141e05. Thank you for clarifying that you're referring to the Neighbors app. There is no way to edit a post you've created on the Neighbors app. If there are errors that need correcting, the best solution is to delete the post you made and create a new one with the correct information.
