My sons phone crashed and had to be reset. Info from phone was not transferred to a new phone while it was being fixed. Now he can't logg into his ring account without verification and he can't verify without logging in! A huge catch 22 and i don't know how to fix this!

Hi @user24784. I think there is some confusion regarding the verification process. If you're signing into your Ring account on a new device, such as a new phone, you will be prompted for a verification code sent via SMS to the phone number on the account. This is referred to as two-step verification, which you can read more about [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039693891-Enhancing-Security-with-Two-Step-Verification). Unless your son's phone number has changed, he should receive the verification code via SMS. If his phone number has changed, preventing him from signing in, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). When you call in, you may receive a prompt asking you to complete the support verification process in the Ring app - select the prompt option to skip this. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.

@user24784 : I was able to get around this by calling customer service, and triggering one of my devices in person - that physical access counted as 2FA on their end, and they were able to then give me a one-time use code to finish logging in. I agree, a huge PITA that shows a half-baked feature poorly tested and poorly implemented. Probably a classic case of too much easy money and not enough accountability :/
