Add Calendar to Ring Video History
Love the app for the most part but there is a major flaw. When we review the video history there's no way for us to select a specific date we want to see. If I want to find a video from 4mos ago I have to spend the next 2hrs manually scrolling thru 4mos worth of video. That's HUNDREDS, potentially THOUSANDS, of video clips we have to scroll thru. I can't tap a calendar or something and select the date I want to view. Who wants to scroll thru days and weeks and months worth of video just to get to a specific date? That's inconvenient and ridiculously inefficient. The Nest app has a video history calendar that we can tap on that allows us to select the date we want to view so we don't have to scroll forever to get to a particular day. Yall desperately NEED to either a calendar or a way for us to manually enter in a specific date or something . Im attaching a screenshot of what it looks like in the Nest app

Can you share a screenshot of where it is becuase i am not finding it. I opened my Event History, the device type is "camera", i selected a specific camera in the filter. All i see is a timeline of events from that specific camera. Nowhere do i see a calendar. I even tapped on one of the events, tapped on the 3 dots in the lower left corner of the video and the options i see are: share, download, star, and delete. There is no calendar next to share. Here is a screenshot of what i see

KThanks so much, i found it! I will say its a little hard to find. I was only able to find if after opening live view, tapping on the settings icon in the corner, opening settings, and then hitting the back button to go back to live view, then a banner pops up at the bottom of the screen asking if i want to view past events, i tap the banner and then the calendar finally shows up at the bottom of the screen. It should not be that difficult and convoluted to find. There should just be a calendar icon in the event history. It also doesnt make sense that the calendar only shows up in the live view and not in the event history.

I cannot see the Calendar icon on the History. Can someone show it to me again please? Thanks

JHi @user_a4d2e3. You should see the calendar in your Event History Timeline for your Camera.

We do have the option of a calendar in your [Event History Timeline](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000704763-Event-History-Timeline-Information) to help with finding videos by date. When you are in your Timeline for a specific Doorbell or Camera, you will see the Calendar option towards the bottom, next to the option that says Share. If this is not what you are looking for, feel free to add your suggestion to our [Feature Request Board](https://community.ring.com/c/products/feature-request-board/24). It helps us organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place.
