Solid blue led ring light on alarm door contact sensor
Does anyone know what a solid blue light means on an alarm door contact sensor? Battery level shows good and system still works with that sensor?

I am now experiencing this same issue - I tried to contact support but received an auto message that Chat is no longer supporting device troubleshooting via chat. Battery levels are still reporting good, device was installed and working up until yesterday.

MSorry to hear about this @pjwezner! I recommend taking the Contact Sensor down and bringing it near your Base Station. Remove and reinsert the battery as well, to perform a power cycle. If this does not resolve your concern, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.

Hey @Laurentiu719. Is this blue light on all the time? If you notice it flash on and off, this is going to be when you are "tripping" the contact sensor by opening said door or window that it is on. It will flash every time it is tripped to show that it's sending the signal. Otherwise, the light is normally on during the adding and pairing process to your Base Station. If you're running into a situation where the light is always on, please reach out to our support team [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Get-in-Touch) to address this!
