Ring Outdoor Motion Sensor - have motion chime on the Ring base station
I have a Motion Sensor installed. I see that for the Motion Sensor I am able to setup a Motion Schedule(s) and I am able to trigger the Ring Doorbell to start recording. However, I don't see a way to be able to have a chime go off on the Ring Alarm Base Station nor on the Keypad, when a motion is detected. Am I missing a setting for this?

Marley - I think they’re referring to the Outdoor Motion Sensor, which doesn’t seem to allow chimes. Please change this! Would add a lot more functionality to the outdoor motion detector (can notify if someone coming up driveway for example… places where cam isn’t necessary but you want to know). Thank you!

Glad you asked, @jasong! There are indeed chirp options for your Motion Detector to audibly notify through your Base Station and Keypad. Assuming your Base Station volume is up and Keypad is configured to play chirps, this sound should work. After visiting each Alarm device and ensuring that chirps are enabled, please also double check that a Chirp Tone is selected via your Motion Detector settings in the Ring app. I hope this helps! :)
