Ring listeners compatible with Xfinity home smoke detectors?
Hi there, I'm considering switching from Xfinity Home to Ring. Does anyone have experience switching, specifically around the smoke dectectors? Specifically do the Xfinity smoke detectors sound their siren if the service is canceled?! Thanks!

The Ring Alarm Smoke/Co Listener is generally compatible with most smoke/CO alarms that are no more than 10 years old, as most alarms have the same sound that goes off for smoke or CO. You can learn more about our listeners [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000705083-Ring-Alarm-Smoke-CO-Listener-Information), and how they work when the alarm is set off. Generally, if you've cancelled service with one company, the alarm should still work and make a sound when smoke/CO is detected.
