Ring keypad and motion sensing

Does the keypad sense motion? I'm asking because I notice that when I pass by it the disarm button lights up and sometimes all of the keys light up. This is with me not touching the keypad.

    Hey @Topdog417. The Ring Alarm Keypad does have a motion sensor within it so that when you walk up to the Keypad, the lights will light up, so you can ensure you are pressing the appropriate buttons.       Will it act like a motion sensor meaning will it set off alarm if it senses motion and is on away mode?

      @Topdog417 No it will not! Only the motion detectors that are stand alone devices will sense motion and can trip the alarm.
