Ring camera is not recognizing they’re being a battery in slot one

I have tried everything to figure out this problem.. I have read multiple postings about the same issue. When can we expect a fix? I have talked to many people into buying this camera. Now that I see, it’s an ongoing issue with no resolve. And I cannot rely on this camera. So you cannot sell this camera as a security item. Because there’s no security when there’s faulty software. Any information you can give me the fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
