Ring Alarm Pro Latest Software Update - Back up network as an extender

This is a screenshot from the latest Ring Alarm Pro / eero update. I am particularly interested in "Ring Alarm Pro with a Ring Protect Pro subscription can now back up the network as an extender" I can't find any information in the help about this function or how it works.
