Remove a failed motion sensor?

hey. my motion sensor didnt add to my base station properly. and now it wont remove either. ive used the "remove failed device" and it fails. any idea how to fix it. tried to call support was on hold for four hours... to be honest i think i'm gonna forget this alarm and return it and get a cheaper kit
