Motion Sensor and my dog

I have a 21 lb dog who is mostly inside the house. I've set the motion sensor for low. In the past three weeks he has still set off my alarm twice. I finally just set the motion sensor to ignore for both home and away. Hopefully some improvement will come later. Until then I have window and door sensors and an indoor cam.
