Gen1 motion sensors not triggering alarms in home or away

Hi I have the Gen2 ring alarm set and bought 2 Gen1 motions sensors as it says it works with them. have 2 gen 1 motion sensor and 1 Gen2 motion sensor , I set it up that when in home mode that 1 Gen 1 and the Gen 2 motion sensors trigger when movement , but when testing Gen 2 goes set off Home alarm but the Gen 1 doesn't. I am having the same problem when enter the away status the Gen1 don't set off the alarm. they are placed in rooms settings and I can't see anything wrong in the APP. Anyone encountered this issue before ? ,
