Gen 2 keypad

I've scanned my keypad and it can be operated thru my phone but the buttons on the keypad do not function. I've tried rescanning it and it says it's already been entered. So, my question is, how do I set it up? How do I set a pin # and enter emergency #'s and make the home, away and disarm buttons functional? Thank you in advance!
