I have them on the outside of my wall safe. If it opens I know. Closes I know. Tampered with I know. And can set it to attach to my alarm so it goes off.

Thinking about putting a sensor inside the safe like a entry door. Anyone have any thoughts on this

I just put miy door sensor on outside. I think there may be signal problems if you put inside.

I had an extra sensor and didn't know what to do with it. After some thinking I thought this could be a great way to monitor my gun lock box. Now, whenever it's opened I'm alerted immediately. It actually works perfectly and I'm surprised they don't also market this as a safe way to monitor your gun safes or lock boxes! If you have guns and live with kids or relatives, I highly recommend you do this.
