I have a Wifi in all my house using routers in each room acting as a bridge of my Internet Router. Could I install all devices( motion sensor, door and windows detectors, external siren, etc) using the actual wifi network or must be using the Ring central unit and the ring extenders??.

Hi @user35670. All Ring Alarm pieces will connect to the Base Station or Alarm Range Extenders. They connect via Z-wave, not wifi. We have this Help Center [page](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001263166-Understanding-Z-Wave-and-Mesh-Networks) that has more information regarding what a Z-wave is.
