Dusk till dawn not working even though I'm using battery pack solar charger and D batteries

Can't get dusk till dawn to work. I'm using battery pack and solar charger, d batteries. On the siren led page it says 2 power sources required does it say that on everyone's

Yes, more than one [power source](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058277512-Outdoor-Siren-Power-Sources) is required to utilize the Dusk to Dawn light setting on the Outdoor Siren. This includes a Quick Release Battery Pack or [hardwired](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050832752-Outdoor-Siren-hardwiring-instructions) option in addition to the included D batteries. Make sure your Quick Release Battery Pack has been fully charged with the included charging cable, and is firmly inserted in the Outdoor Siren. Then review the Dusk to Dawn light settings, as outlined [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058723631-Outdoor-Siren-settings-for-sound-LED-and-Dusk-to-Dawn).
