Disabling individual sensors

Can I easily disable an individual sensor, say, a bedroom window? If so, is that done through the app, or can it also be done via an Alexa voice command, like, "Alexa, disable bedroom window"?

    You can disable a sensor in the app my turning it off in the "mode" settings for the device. Not really quickly, as it is a few levels deep in the app menus, but it is there.
