Ring Alarm
Contact Sensor sound through Chime
Is there anyway to have the contact sensors chirp through Chime? It's hard to hear our base station on the second floor and I would like to hear the chrip when certain doors in the inside of our house open. Our son is autistic and there are some safety concerns.

Great recommendation, @jimyouse! @Tara0909, another option is adding additional Keypads. The Alarm chirps will sounds through your Base Station and Keypad, but not the Chime. You are able to have multiple Keypads at your location, which we see many neighbors use for access and sounds. I hope these suggestions help! :)

I have essentially the same problem. I have both Ring cameras and 2nd Gen Security setup. All works well. I need to be able to play a sound when certain sensors are triggered AT SENSOR LOCATION - not in my home office where the base is located. To be clear - it does not need to be "right at the sensor" - "in general vicinity" is good enough. However, playing anything in home office (on a different floor and behind several walls/doors) is useless. I take your point that one could use extra keypads for this, but it seems like a hugely wasteful solution. Also, it has implications for security - some of the locations I need things to beep are outside the house and not entirely secure. Putting a cheap sensor there is ok (if it gets stolen/broken/tampered - it is not a big deal). But placing entire keypad!!

Hi Neighbors. We've updated the integration so that an Amazon Echo Device can also play Ring Alarm sounds. Learn more about this feature [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4524869247124-Play-Alarm-Sounds-on-Echo-Devices).

Do you have any Amazon Echos? You can create routines in the Alexa app to play a sound or say something like "Front door open" through the echo. It's not exactly what you want and will take some time to setup but it might be usable.
