Can I wire a sensor to both my original panel, and my retrofit kit?
Hi all, I'm about to install my Ring retrofit kit, and I had a question, instead of completely moving my sensors from my existing control panel to the ring retrofit kit, would it be possible to just wire the sensors in parallel to both the existing control panel and the retrofit kit so that they both see the same signal? I.e. I would just add jumper wires from the terminals on my existing control panel to the ring retrofit panel terminals. Would this work?

Zero experince, just an educated swing. I do not see why not. The question is why? Do you like the siren on the old system better? Is it worth arming and disarming two keypads?
