  Hi there, @flipper1028! The Alarm siren is unable to be altered in volume, however, the siren should only sound during an emergency event or trigger. If your Alarm siren is sounding often, I recommend using [Entry/ Exit Delays](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360030784072-Setting-Ring-Alarm-Entry-and-Exit-Delays). Feel free to also check out our [help center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005360486-Preventing-False-Alarms) about false alarms. Outside of the siren sounding when a sensor is triggered in an armed mode, your Base Station and Keypad can also play chirp sounds. These are sounds that might play when a sensor is opened, to notify of this happening. These chirps can be altered or disabled, and even lowered in volume, within the Alarm Settings in your Ring app. I hope this helps! :)

  I also want to silence the alarm, is there any future plans to allow this? If not we’ll have to move to Simply Safe.
