Does the alarm gen2 support the BT digital phone line?

Hi @Fozzyman. What aspect of the Ring Alarm are you hoping is supported by BT digital phone line? The Ring Alarm system connects via WiFi or ethernet and uses Z-Wave to communicate with Ring Alarm accessories.

Allow silent alarm in away mode. I would like the option of setting the alarm in silent mode when away so that the intruder doesn’t know the alarm has activated. .

Hi @Freqflyer5. At this time, the alarm cannot be silenced. The siren will play when the alarm is triggered until you disarm the system. You're welcome to add your feedback to [this thread](https://community.ring.com/t/adjust-alarm-siren-volume-or-have-a-silent-alarm/54721) on our Feature Request board, where other neighbors are also asking for a silent alarm.
