XFINITY Arris XB7 not completely compatible

FYI I was having trouble getting live view on my doorbell camera and my ring chimes kept falling off when XFINITY upgraded me to the XB7 modem. After months of back and forth with Xfinity and Ring. It was finally told to me to go back and ask for the XB6 modem. I did and my issues have been resolved. Apparently XFINITY hasn’t created an update to sync perfectly with the Ring system.
