wire wound resistor- doorbell 3
Support says the wirewound resistor is not needed for hardwired video doorbell 3 but the description of the resistor on the Ring site says it is-[https://store.ring.com/products/wirewound-resistor?](https://store.ring.com/products/wirewound-resistor?)Is this a mistake on the product description or is there a condition that it would actually be needed?I'm hoping to install the doorbell this weekend & want to do it right. Very confusing.
