Will Ring Peephole fit in a hole that is 2cm?

My door is around 70mm thick, so the Ring Peephole fits in terms of thickness. But I am worried about the diameter. The current peephole I have (not smart) has a 16mm diameter but the hole itself is 20mm. Since the Ring Peephole mentions a diameter of 12-14mm, I am concerned that it will be loose after installing. There's a "large view hole adapter" included in the packaging, but it says nothing about its dimensions. Maybe the Ring Peephole is 12mm and the adapter goes up to 14mm. Does anyone know for sure? Perhaps if I tighten it enough it will still stay in place and not be wobbly. Any thoughts? I haven't purchased it yet for what it's worth.
