Ring Video Doorbell
Will a Video Doorbell Elite connected via PoE activate a Chime Pro?
I have a client site that needs a hardwired video doorbell due to stone walls and metal doors at a particular service entrance. They use several Chime Pros internally already for other lower-end Ring doorbell notifications. It looks like the Video Doorbell Elite can be hardwired via a PoE connection. This solution should work if the Elite will trigger the Chime Pros like the other doorbells. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

@user80859 Yip they work fine. The Elite wont need the Wi-Fi boosting fuctions of the chime pro but the chime part will work just fine. Keep in mind with the elite it is flush mount so if the outside wall is stone you need to cut a hole in it to sink the elite into. It is the main downside of the product. I keep hoping that a surface mount/updated Elite will launch as I have all the wiring in place to use it but would not want to cut a hole in my stone wall to accomodate the exisiting elite.

Hi @user80859. Yes, you can use the Chime Pro with the Ring Elite.
