Which Ring doorbell can be swapped for an existing 1st gen
hardwired-video-doorbell
installation

Hi I have recently purchased a house with a Ring 1st Gen doorbell. It is wired and the housing is installed. I want to leave the wiring and backplate as is. Which Ring doorbell can this be done with. Would a Pro 2 fit as a swap out our would I have to get a Doorbell 4

    Hi @user23414. You will not be able to keep the same mounting bracket when installing any other of the Video Doorbell models. You will have to replace the bracket. Some Doorbell models do not require a bracket to be installed. There are Retro Fit Kit brackets available [here](https://ring.com/collections/accessories) in the accessories section for certain Doorbell models to replace the original bracket to conceal the previous holes drilled. I hope this helps.
