What do I need to install the Ring Video Door 3 Plus to the AC wiring?

Just got the Ring Video Door 3 Plus for a property that does not have an existing (wired) doorbell. So instead of relying on the battery, I'd like to hard-wire it into the electrical wiring (obviously there are light switches on the inside near the door) inside the wall. I assume I need a low voltage (8-24v AC) transformer to go between the AC line in the house and the Ring Doorbell. The price is about the same so I might go for the 24V 40VA. Thanks in advance!
