Video doorbell I can see the housing of the ring case in my video

When I look at my video it looks like the camera lens in pushed back and I can see a full ring around where I can see the outside of the housing of the Ring case. Picture will show you what I mean and I want to know if this is normal

Hi @JJDW1970. Great observation. No worries, this is perfectly normal. This "fisheye" effect is from the Ring Doorbells wide angle field of view. Rest assured you can zoom in on the Live View whenever you have it enabled to get a better look of what may be in front of your Doorbell!

I also have this on one of my cameras but on the other I don’t? The one without the ring seems to also have a lot better picture quality??
