Video Door Bell Wired and my Chime

troubleshooting
I recently bought a Ring Video Doorbell wired and I have an old chime. Here is an URL to an image of my current chime. I'm pretty sure that this chime will not work with the video doorbell so I was going to link the doorbell with my echo dot and use that for the chime. How do I wire the doorbell with this chime for power only? do I just attache the red and white wires to the chime wires for power? Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA any idea what the red and white wires signify?

Hi @shockwaveriderz. As mentioned on the [product page](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-wired), the Video Doorbell Wired does not ring your internal chime kit. To hear audible alerts in your home, you can pair the Video Doorbell Wired with a [Ring Chime](https://ring.com/products/chime-gen2) or a compatible Alexa device. You can also find wiring diagrams for the Video Doorbell Wired [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405783047188-Wiring-Diagrams-for-Ring-Doorbell-Wired-), which should help with installation. :)
