Very poor Video Quality at Night

I recently had 2 thieves tried to break in to my house at Night. I received motion alert and checked the Live view. Well When I looked at the recording after they ran away, Looks like it's a Ghost or X-Ray video. I cannot identify faces or can give it to police. Doorbell 2 is on a Wedge on Black uPVC door.
