  Hi @TheLateQuentin. As long as your transformer can handle wiring two devices requiring a certain level of power at one time, and the wiring is already set up in the back, you should be good! Most transformers can handle outputting to multiple devices, but every transformer is different. You can verify with a local electrician if your transformer can handle this kind of power output, and as long as it can and you can get the wiring setup similar to the first Ring Video Doorbell Pro, you should be totally fine to use more than one! :)

  I just added a 2nd ring pro to my system . This is in addition to an existing pro on my other door. Transformer is warm and mechanical doorbell now hums. This new pro replaces a first generation ring doorbell that has worked well with my other ring pro. Specifically. Now as I try to run two pro doorbells the door mechanical chime hums and the transformer is warm Thanks Mark

Here are some important variables to consider when powering your Doorbell Pro: * **Transformer Rating.** Check out our [Wiring Diagrams](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022454432-Wiring-Diagrams-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-Setup) which will list a recommended transformer rating for each wiring setup. * **Using existing wiring and chime kit?** An existing chime kit will **require** the installation of the [Pro Power Kit](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005974286-How-to-Install-Pro-Power-Kit-V2-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro), and the internal chime kit should be on our [Chime Compatibility List](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/209028546-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). * **Questions about your wire type?** Please ensure you’re using a standard 18 to 20 gauge wiring, as seen in this [Help Center Article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041807292-Selecting-the-Correct-Wire-Gauge-when-Wiring-a-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro). Remember, the longer a run of wire, the more distance power must travel. Older or corroded wires can also impact power delivery to your Doorbell and chime kit.
