Ring video doorbell notification delay

Hi, I have a battery video doorbell camera, (peephole type), and there is a notification delay to my Samsung galaxy phone of about 3-5 minutes even when I'm in the house, I have fast broadband, (1 gig), and the signal strength on the app is green RSSI-48.I have searched this problem a lot and made all the suggested changes to my phone etc. but it makes no difference, I am missing everyone that comes to the house when I'm out as they have gone before I get a notification, this is my last hope.
