Ring Software update query

Got an email from Ring saying they will be doing an automatic software update between end of september and November. Do you need to be physically there to reboot your device ie. taking the cover off to reconnect the device. If not there to do it what do you do? Lose power? Confused.

Hi @Jewel1. You do not need to be present for an update. They typically happen on there own and only take about 10-15 minutes at most.
