Hi, i have the ring plus 3 bell. I will be using the bg transformer as it requires 24v but my existing transformer is 12v and the chime. Will the chime still work with 24v or is the voltage too high?

HI @s.a777. If you plan to wire your Video Doorbell 3 Plus to an existing doorbell circuit, the transformer needs to be 8-24 VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz. I can't speak to any power requirements for the chime kit you choose to utilize, as that will depend on the chime kit you pick. I'd suggest checking the specifications and power requirements for whichever model of chime kit you have, as well as ensuring it is [compatible with the Doorbell 3 Plus](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045180971-Ring-Video-Doorbell-3-Plus-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). I hope this helps! :)
