Ring notifications on shared Alexa accounts
Hi,I have recently bought a Ring Doorbell. It works absolutely fine, both the doorbell and the motion sensor, on both my mobile phone and Alexa device. However, I share my Alexa device with another household (my parents), in order to share our Prime membership benefits. This means they are now ALSO receiving notifications on their Alexa device whatever my front doorbell goes or motion is detected. Which is, understandably, annoying for them! I have looked at numerous support topics/groups, and nowhere does there appear to be advice on this. There is advice on how to disable notifications on individual Alexa devices within the same house (i.e. under the same account), but I can't seem to disable notifications on another, shared Alexa device (in a different house). Any ideas?

No, it doesn't! The article says:How to select which Echo Devices send AnnouncementsDownload the latest Alexa app.Tap Devices at the lower right corner of your screen.Tap All Devices.Tap the Video Doorbell or Security Camera you wish to be notified about.Tap Announcement Devices and select the Echo device(s) on which you wish to hear Announcements.If you have multiple Echos with Announcements enabled, all of them will make the Announcement. You can adjust this on the Alexa app.Except there isn't an "Announcement Devices" option under the Ring Doorbell device. So how exactly can I choose which Echo device makes the announcement, and which ones don't?

THi @2user_17cc9e. When you select your Ring Doorbell in your Alexa app, what options do you have available to tap? Do you care to share a screenshot? An Alexa app update may have changed things around a bit, but Announcements Devices should still be located in the Alexa app.
