  I haven't seen the packaging for the wired doorbell but I am assuming there will be a clear sticker over it like other ring models. Just checking that you took this off.

  hi Guys! thanks for getting back. yes there was clear film on the top, which i pealed off. i think the scuff marks must have come during installation. its a mistake, i should have let the film stay during the installation. but having said that i took atmost care not to let the glossy area rub against the wall. i dont see any haziness in the video so i guess its just the penel that is scratched.
