Ring Doorbell does not record motion when iPhone is off or in Airplane mode
My Ring Doorbell does not record motion when my iPhone is off or in Airplane mode. I use my iPhone to record videos for work. I generally put it in airplane mode so that my videos are not cutoff if a call comes through. I have noticed that each time I put my phone in airplane mode, Ring does not capture ANY motion or video during this time. There is a lot of motion (cars, people, etc) on my street during these times so I know it should capture something.

Hi @SRC. The Doorbell will capture events regardless of if your phone is or is not connected to wifi. Have you tried testing this by placing your iPhone in airplane mode, and then triggering a test event on the Doorbell? You can walk in front of it or press the button and it should trigger the Doorbell to start recording.
