Ring doorbell 3 reconnecting

My ring doorbell 3 connects when it wants to. It is about 3ft awas from the WiFi router. Most of the time it won't connect and just keeps saying reconnect. My speed test on the WiFi 25mb plus. Any other devices used on it work very fast no issues whatsoever. Battery is down to 55% aftee less than a week. Really disappointed with the ring doorbell 3 so far. Any help greatly appreciated as when I tried contacting support that like the doorbell... It wouldn't connect.
