Ring App uses 'in-call' speaker - can this be changed?

Hi all, When answering a ring via android app on Galaxy S9, the call volume is played through the 'in call volume' speaker, e.g. the speaker at the top of the handset designed for use during phone calls. As a result I can't hear the person at the door unless I hold the phone to my ear, defecating the object for having video. Does anyone know how I can play the in call audio through my main phone speaker? Thanks in advance! Jamie
