Range question

Not a big issue, very happy but quite often there is a noticable delay from the time my ring pro starts recording and when I get the actual alert on my phone. I have good internet service but the camera is set up to connect through my Netgear range extender due to it being in a more direct line of sight and closer than my router. I am thinking of ordering a mesh extender that is matched to my router and is rated at a much greater range than my current extender, would decrease the delay that I mentioned above? I have already tried the Ring extender but it didn't perform as well as the Netgear extender. Thanks for any input, as I mentioned, this is not a major issue for me. I am very happy with my Ring Pro and the new indoor security camera, just wondering if this might improve things a bit.
