New ring door bell

Hi guys, iv just purchased a new ring doorbell like many others , however our front door is down stairs and our living space including the router is upstairs in our living room so unfortunately the ring doorbell keeps going ofline due to loss of wifi signal! Can I ask for anyone's ideas as to how I can improve our wifi signal at our door downstairs with no electricity socket on the bottom landing please and thank you in advance for any help recommended 👍
