Mounting Solar Ring Doorbell on gate

I want to mount the new Solar Ring Doorbell package on my back gate. Anyone have any elegant ideas on how to clamp mount some kind of mounting base onto the gate that's simple, looks clean and won't get the condo board's shorts in a bunch? I.E. no drilling and it needs to be weatherproof.
