How to stay logged in on a PC
I have no security at all if I have to log in every single time with my password, get a code in an email, then enter that code to see my video doorbell. I am not going to always have my phone on me, so I want to simplty log in using a web browser and see my camera because, THAT WOULD BE MORE SECURE. I want to quickly be able to see what is at my front door if i am at the computer. Virtually every web app ever made is secure and can tell what the computer you are on is and give you at least the option to not have to log in every single time. If not, nothing you do on your computer is secure at all. Like email. Do you know any email app that requires you to login every single time, get a code, then enter that. This is stupid. Who do I get around the Ring stupidity and simply stay logged in so I can go to a link, skip the login and see the camera?

I always select the 30day option but still need to log in several times a day. I constantly need to verify. I just want security, don't care what is going on with neighbors.

CHi @user_3da548. Make sure you're not clearing your cache or cookies, or using a VPN. These would all log you out of Ring.com, which would require you to log back in and receive another verification code.

HERE HERE! Mr "theperson" I thought I was the only one with this problem. Not only to constantly go through the ropes to get into my screen but also how long it takes for the video of a recent walk-by or ring to process. By the time I got to see a video last week the person was gone and the video showed he had a package under his arm. A thief? I'll never know. Now as of yesterday I can't even check using my PC. It still requests a code and will sign me in but says I have no devices on this system. I have for years. Maybe it only works on Windows 10 and I still have 7 but why then has it worked until yesterday? My iPhone is always off because I've always disliked cells and use a landline. I purchased it only for security while driving. VERY FRUSTRATING but thanks much for bringing up an issue that's fried me from day one.

HI have to enter password twice, first I enter email address and PW, then it initiates 2FA, then I enter code and it blanks out the password so I have to re-enter it

CHi @sf5409. Since you're having multiple concerns both with account access and the performance of your Ring, I'd recommend giving our support team a call at one of the numbers available here. They'll be able to look more closely into each concern and find a working solution for you.

SWOW! I did not expect such a quick reply or even if I would get one at all. Maybe there was something wrong with the Ring system in my area yesterday. While working well on my iPhone I could not get it to show on my PC which has been no problem in the past. I checked it minutes ago and now it's working fine on my PC again. Yesterday, although it did show I had an account it also said I had no devices yet. So for now all is well. Thanks so much. Stay well

I agree, there is no security when you have to use 2 factor authentication every time you use Ring, by the time Ring emails the code for you log in, and the time it takes to connect, whoever was at your door will be long gone. I even had to use 2 factor authorisation to sign in to this forum. Once you are logged in, there should be an option to stay logged in, this is how all software works these days. This shows how stupid ring tech people are to come up with a system that renders their own product useless, Ring needs to fix this issue asap.

UA year on (writing in September '23) and RING continues to be useless. As another user said, what is the point of something that tells you someone is at the door but by the time you have faffed about with opening the screen on your PC, entered your email address, rummaged through your paperwork for the password then entered that, whoever it was is long gone! No chance to speak to them. There is something wrong with the PC app.

Hi neighbors. An update was added to Ring.com, where you do get the option to stay logged in for up to 30 days. You will see the option "Keep me Signed in (up to 30 days)" when it asks for your verification code when logging into your account.
