Hourly Doorbell Notifications

A repeat problem - our doorbell goes off every hour at 7 minutes past the hour for the last 24 hours. We have 3 doorbells and at times when this occurs, they’ll sync and all go off on same schedule. We never wanted an hourly cuckoo clock … any suggestions or help on how to solve this? TIA!

This is an odd concern to hear of, @Vogts. Motion going off routinely and in unison with other devices sounds like a possible device linking result. The best step will be to check each Ring device in your Ring app and confirm they are no linked to each other or other device around the home as part of an integration. If there is no linked devices or integrations in use here, the next best step will be to check for environmental factors. Depending on the model Doorbell you have, there are certain environmental factors that might trigger your Doorbell motion detection. Vehicle traffic from a street that is within the field of view, moving object, or even expelled heat from ventilation or HVAC units might trigger your motion, thus seeming like a false alert. If these common factors do not match the concern you are having, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
