Hello! Can I remove the ring doorbell 4 battery completely if it is hardwired? I have other devices that aren’t hardwired and want to use the battery for those. Thanks in advance!

Hi @neighbur. You can't remove the battery in the Doorbell 4 completely, even if you have the Doorbell hardwired. The Doorbell doesn't draw on the hardwiring as a direct power source, but instead that provides a trickle charge to the battery. This means that if you remove the battery from the Doorbell, it will not function as it will not have power. I hope that helps clear things up! :)
