Ext. Camera security starts to soon

Is there a way to set the motion sensing cameras to the same delay as the home security? When leaving the house, I have the security set to a 60 second delay. But when stepping outside both my cameras go off. "Hi, you are currently being recorded" and the inside security is still doing the count down. It is annoying and loud in the morning. We have a detached garage so that is the only way to get to our car. It seems to me that the cameras security should not start until the alarm is set.  I can not find a way to set a delay for the cameras.
